A huge aspect of my life is traveling. I find traveling to be a way to see a bigger picture of the world I am a part of. I make it a huge point to try to travel at any opportunity I get. I have so many trips in my life worth mentioning, but my top three overall were New York, Paris, and a boat trip around St.Barth. Every trip for me has held a special value, but these trips greatly impacted the way I see the world and all of the aspects it has to offer.
Paris was so eye-opening because not only was it always on my bucket list, but it was my first time in Europe. Going from America to Europe will introduce you to a whole new cultural reset that I have never experienced before. I was fortunate enough to go with my Grandma for my post-grad trip, so getting to experience all those sights with her just made the trip so special. New York was also so special because I got to go during Christmas, which, with Elf being my favorite movie of all time, was such a dream. I was able to check out two major bucket list trips that completely changed my life.
The last trip I want to bring to note, along with all my travels, was my most recent trip, where I was blessed with the opportunity to travel with my boyfriend and his family for two weeks on a boat. This is a trip that wasn’t on my bucket list because I don’t think I could’ve thought of something truly as amazing as this trip. We started in the US Virgin Islands, then flew to St. Barth, then sailed by boat to St. Maarten and a country called Anguilla. I was able to see things that I could never have imagined. I believe the true joy of travel is seeing beauty unlike anything else.
