Hey y'all! My name is Cadyn Perkins and I am a junior here at Texas State University. I am currently pursuing a degree in Digital Media Innvoation. I am also working towards getting a minor in innovation and entrepreneurship. I was born and raised right outside of Austin, in a town called Cedar Park, with my parents, Deanna and Chris, and my little sister, Austin. Growing up right outside of Austin gave me a huge Longhorn spirit, but now, attending Texas State, my love for college football is split.
A little bit about me is that I have one cat named Misu who lives here with me and my roommates in San Marcos, and back at home, I have one dog named Nuk. I love to shop, go to the lake, watch movies, travel, bake, and pursue my passion in media. Spending quality time with my friends, family, and boyfriend is my preferred way to spend my time. Although I would love to spend all the time in the world with them, I spend most of my time working. I currently have three jobs, and I know that sounds like a lot, but I honestly love what I do and I love chasing my goals.
As I stated earlier, I am currently a third-year college student, and throughout my time at Texas State, I have tried to involve myself in many ways. I am currently the Public Relations chair of an organization called the Entrepreneurship Club here at Texas State. Along with that, I work at a cafe restaurant called Bean and Brew in San Marcos, where I get the chance to work with some of my friends, make yummy coffee, and interact with customers. I focus more on my love for social media marketing, where I am currently working for the Center of Innnovation and Entrepreneurship as a marketing coordinator here on campus. Off campus, I am starting a new position with a bar on the San Marcos Square called Bazaar, where I will be the new head of their marketing.
